Now about that word … Foltzwerk

It’s a name I came up with as a DBA for my early freelance design work. I’m a Kraftwerk fan and was curious about the meaning of their name. Kraftwerk is German for power plant. The suffix, werk (english translation), means factory, plant, a work of art, or a life’s work. I liked the industrial/artistic meanings of the suffix so I stuck it on the end of my last name. Foltzwerk is no longer my DBA, just my online nickname, and the name of my personal domain.
